Do I pay before the job starts?

No. When you hire, your card is checked with ₦100 (it comes off your bill) and saved for this job. The agreed price is only charged when you confirm the job is done. You can also choose to pay at the end.

What does JobSpotta cost?

Joining and posting jobs are free. There is one flat 5% fee on completed work, taken from the worker's side, so the worker keeps 95%. Money for materials goes to the worker in full, with no fee.

How are workers checked?

Four ways: a phone number confirmed with a code, a bank account in their own name, a government ID with a selfie reviewed by a person on our team, and a guarantor we call. Workers can also upload trade certificates for review. You see which checks each worker has passed before you hire.

What if something goes wrong?

Raise a dispute from the job. The job freezes, and a real person on our team reviews both sides and the evidence within 24 hours.

Which areas do you cover?

Bonny Island and Port Harcourt in Rivers State, including Obio-Akpor. If you are somewhere else, tell us where and we will let you know when we open there.

What if my job does not fit a trade?
